Biography

Zenaid"zenky"Jugo was born 2.2.1974. in Mostar,Bosnia Herzegovina.He started playing drums at age of 15,since then he  supplied his drumming  for many musicians and groups ,like many rock bands such as Silver Bullit from Sweden,ethno rock band Bosnia Express,famous Iranian singer Reza Yazdani, toured with them both Sweden and Europe.He played nearly 500 gigs at big and small venues including Roskilde and Hultsfred festivals ,Fabrik-Hamburg,Milky Way-Amsterdam ,Astoria-London,Nefertiti jazz club Göteborg among others.In 1998.he toured Europe along with US rock band Masters Of Reality known for collaboration with legendary drummer Ginger Baker and  producer Rick Rubin.In 1999 he played drums together with famous Swedish singer Håkan Hellström on the same record by the Silver bullit band. .Zenky is mostly a session drummer and plays many styles of music such as rock,pop,disco,funk,reagge,jazz,afro,blues,country,latin,hip-hop,world,folk,hard rock,instrumental, etc...Some of his favorite drummers are Simon Phillips,Kenny Aronnof,Steve Gadd,Michael Shrieve,Ringo,Charlie Watts,Jim Keltner,Buddy Rich, Tony Williams,Billy Cobham,Mitch Mitchell etc.,,..Some of his favorite producers are Glyn Johns,Ken Scott ,Rick Rubin  ,Eddie Kramer,Martin Birch,Alan Parsons... etc....Zenky is also drum educator.He is also producer and engineer of music studio called Zenky music studio(pictured on the discography next page)avaliable for recording.He is living in Gothenburg,Sweden.He is also one of the "Most recorded drummers" in Göteborg and Sweden last 25 years
